Bella Tseeva
Smith College ’21 majoring in Chinese Language and Literature, Education & Child Study
Heyy!!! My name is Bella. I was born in a small town in Russia, close to the Black Sea. When I was nine, I moved to another sunny town on the other side of Europe, in Portugal. At the age of seventeen, I went to an international high school in China (UWC Changshu), and now I am a senior at Smith College, in the USA. In the past years, I worked in summer camps in China and was an intern at Smith’s Admission Office.
Traveling around places and making new friends is part of who I am. Throughout my life, I was inspired and guided by amazing people, which makes me think of a saying: “we rise by lifting others”. I believe our world is a huge network of connections, and you never know who can help you one day and change your life, or maybe you can be the one changing someone else’s life. This is why, by being a GTL Linker, I hope to contribute with my experiences, to this community of open-minded people who are pursuing their dreams.
